Well let’s look at the theoretical situation .
I’ve got 20 of them on my Jeep . Three AM some thieves want to steal my wheels & tires .
Oh shoot don’t have a splined socket. It’s ok we will hammer a socket on to each one .
That hammering let alone
strange truck on the street .
I don’t think theives would get the first wheel off before police showed up cause somebody is calling .
You have to remember “locking” lug nuts, steering wheel lock bars, locking hitch receiver balls etc are meant as a deterrent .
As if there is a will there is a way But majority of criminals would just move on to simpler wheel , lug combo so not to attract attn .
