2008 jk Sahara

I just purchased Icar pro 4.0. It will arrive tomorrow. I went to the App Store and downloaded JScan. It downloaded to my phone, but never asked me to pay for it ? I thought there was a charge for it ?

Also, do I need a dongle adapter ?

You can go under settings and buy VIN licenses. When you connect to your ICar Pro 4.0, if you have available VIN licenses, it will ask if you wish to assign one to that VIN. If you have none, it will ask if you want to buy some.

The ICar Pro 4.0 is your dongle. The connection is via Bluetooth.

You're going to love iCarPro and JScan! That's what I'm using. Open the app, upper right corner click the settings icon, click manage license & account, then choose your license of choice.

Yea, I meant that I read it after I posted about the dongle. Your correct I do not need it. Got the Icar pro today and connected with JScan. Pretty cool. Haven’t had a lot of time to tinker with it, but so far I like it.
