Can anyone help me identify what seal this is? I believe it’s an input seal to the transfer case. I have thick black sludge splattered underneath on other parts. Anyone know how much this can cost and why it would have happened. Also found some fluid near the air box but no hoses seem to be cracked. Help please

Yes 2.5 inch, didn’t think I would need a driveshaft already but must have been on the way out and my lift did the rest 😒

With a 2.5 lift normally don't need a Aftermarket driveshaft but if you do some rock crawling or similar you might need one.

What you might do is jack the front up from under the bumper and watch that area where the leaking grease is to see how much more movement there is until the shaft quits moving.
