Has anyone added 2022 JL rims to there JK.
The JL rim studs are larger 14x1.5
The JKs are 1/2-20, does anyone make a spacer that's
1/2-20 on the jeep side with 14x1.5 studs, or maybe bigger lugs with 1/2-20 threads.
I bought them as new take offs at a good price.... maybe I should have done my homework first 😕

Your JL wheels should mount right on your JK. They're the same bolt pattern. 5 on 5. The JL has thicker studs than the JK. You might have to get a wider "Acorn" end to center the wheels on the studs. Not 100% sure though. Mount 1 on and see how things look and report back.

This probably won't help much but more of a FYI. The JL factory rims have a backspacing
of 5.5 ". If you ever intend to add 1 or 2 ton drag link or tie rod there will be figment issues.
Also some suspension components like control arms , depending on manufacture may require
4.5 " backspacing .
In all honesty tire spacers were the worst thing ever invernted. As it's a band aid solution .
Not all shops will touch your tires if running a spacer.

Hello guys..
Here is an update.....
It can be done with the stock lugs, however I didn't like how it looked... I ordered 1.5" spacers to get the tires a bit out of the wheel wells, I decided to go with 14x1.5, (I also purchased 1/2-20 open lugs to mount the actual spacer to the hubs) I had positive control of mounting the spacers correctly and would not have to worry about the dealer screwing things up at inspection time...
This was a major upgrade for my Sahara...
I purchased the Superchip Flashcal to correct the speedometer, BTW, the tpms read correctly as well.
thank you all for responding.
Cheers.
Here are a few pics of it in progress and finished

Great Thread. Came here looking to have this exact question answered. Looking to put 2023 Rubicon stock wheels on my 2015 JK Unlimited Sport. Not sure about the spacers but can add these later if needed. Any concerns I am not aware of that you all may have with my idea? I know I am late to the party.
