Hardtop lift / storage ideas

Living in Florida I have a doublewide with an attached carport. I'm looking for some idea's on how to attach some kind of lifting/storage device to hang the top to the underside of my carport. Any help would be appreciated.

I built a shelf across the back wall of my garage and installed a pair of ladder hooks into the trusses. I twist the hooks so that they are parallel to the front edge of the top, set the back edge of the top on the shelf, lift the front edge of the top up, and then twist the hooks so that the front edge of the top rests on the hooks.
