Hello, all It has been a good time the 6yrs learning about Crawling & building my JK, But after 6yrs and 100,000 miles of 97% hard miles, it is also my 1st with not to much input my own doing from others (and yes it cost me more then I care to say still one best time of life!!
Now it is Time for the last Build #2
I did learn the Hard Way mostly $$$$$$ LOL this time I have recruited someone with more knowledge oh and more connections.
but still I need to learn and do my due diligent so i can do repairs after the build is compete.
going to start with LS, trying to away from Jeeps Problems under the hood to many to mention. LOL
I know 0 about LSing my JK can Some one inform me of a good place to research motros and install info or any info that would help me get started in the right direction??? thanks to this Forums from all of you Have A Marry Marry & Happy Happy
 
To be fair, an LS is just as likely to have problems as any other engine. But don't let that stop you.

Your best bet, if you're new to this sort of thing, is one of the "all in" LS swap kits available. You'll get the engine, transmission, transfer case, mounts, and all the wiring and computers to make it work.

Bear in mind that your axles are likely going to be problematic. I've got a 500HP 392 Hemi in my JL. The D44's hold up pretty well, but they've been beefed up from the standard Rubicon axles. I also think Jeep made a wise choice when they used a full time 4WD transfer case in these monsters. Splitting 500HP between two D44's is going to be a lot more reliable than sending it all to the rear. And if your base rig isn't a Rubicon, you're just asking for trouble.
The other option, of course, is to swap in a set of D60's or something of that sort.

TY Very Much it's a starting point. your so Wright about the axles i have put more then 1 on the front end this build i will go 60s front & rear.
