Chris Administrator Staff Member Joined Sep 28, 2015 Messages 32,369 Location Florence, AZ May 17, 2020 #3 The CEL will go off if you unplug the battery and leave it unplugged for 10 minutes or so. The PCM will reset itself. Of course clearing the codes with a scanner is much easier

Yes, but Autozone can't legally reset codes, even though their tool will do it. It's against their policies. Buy a cheap OBDII scanner like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06ZYTDKP3/?tag=jkforum-20 Or download the J-Scan app and buy this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XGB4873/?tag=jkforum-20 If you plan on owning your Jeep a long time, you need an OBDII scanner to read and reset codes.
