Hello all, I am trying to resolve some codes my daughters 2007 Wrangler JKU is throwing. The concerning codes are the EVAP system codes such as P0456, P0457, So upon inspection of the EVAP system starting with looking under the rear of the vehicle where the Canister is. That is when I noticed there is no Canister in that area. That isn't the major issue. The major issue is that the Flow Valve to Canister Hose is irreparably damaged. I can replace all of the parts BUT that hose. That hose has been discontinued as of a t least a year ago. The part number is 52126036AB. Does anyone have a work around, to replace or fixe this hose, or to remove the codes if that hose isn't there? any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
 
If it's just a hose you should be able to go to any auto part store and simply find any hose with the right diameter, then cut it to length.

The hose needed isn't just a regular hose. It has an electrical connection port at one section, that probably connects to the ecm. It also has special connectors on each end that connect it to the Canister and gas tank. So it isn't just a hose, it's a specialized hose. So much so that it isn't even available as an aftermarket part. Thank you for your reply.

What about salvage yard?

There does not appear to be a electrical port in the hose # you provided. I have a 2008 and have mine torn all apart right now and it looks similar. I believe that Chris is right in that you should be able to just use some cut to fit hose here. You may need to get a brass "T" and use that, potentially with some reducers as well. A lot of people relocate the EVAP canister anyways, and when they do, they just use normal hose meant for fuel/vapor service.

Thank you for your reply. You are correct, that port isn't electrical. I did find a workaround for my issue thanks to a local jeep shop. The mechanic there sold me a hose that did not have the port. He then showed me that I could remove my port using a heat gun. Then told me to cut the replacement port as needed, using heat, place the removed T-port from my hose into the replacement hose and adjust as needed. This worked like a charm. Thank you all or you replies, suggestions, and answers.

Glad you got it fixed, though admittedly that seems like a lot of work when a rubber hose, brass “T”, and a couple hose clamps would have done the same (and is what many who relocate their EVAP do anyway).
