I have a 2016 rubicon 2 dr.
2” lift and 2” spacers metal fender flairs
Am thinking about going to bfg 33x12.5x17 should I go to 35 and will I have to change anything, like gear ratios
Thanks

If you have 4.10's and just a DD you can get by with no gear change with 35's.

Put your VIN in this link and you'll find out what gears you have.

You can fit 35's on that, no problem. You might have a bit of rubbing if you flex it offroad though, but just a bit. As for gearing... as BlackJKU said, it just depends. What is the intended use? What gears are in it right now? What transmission? You might have 3.73 or 4.10 gears. With the 6 speed manual, 4.10's and 35's, my '13 works just fine. But it also has a few tweaks that have added 30-35HP.
If you've got 3.73 gears and 35's, you're almost certainly going to want to swap gears to either 4.10 or even 4.56. I wouldn't go lower than 4.56 though, unless you're going for a pure trail rig.
