Fast turn signal (Intermittent)

I have stock signals and headlights. Intermittently, the turn signals will flash fast because the front signals aren't working. I have seen it flash normal for awhile, then flash fast, then it will go back to normal again while going through town. I cleaned the ground wire connection behind the airbox. I thought that fixed it, but then it happened again. Any help will be appreciated greatly! I have seen other people post that same issue on another forum, but no response to the issue.

I think it is because the front ones are not working. I am not sure what causes it to be intermittent though. But I suspect get the front fixed it will solve the issue.

The firs time I noticed it, I replaced the front signals and thought it was fixed until I got down the road.

Did you use regular bulbs or LED’s? LED can cause issues due to the voltage difference.

Regular bulbs. I am trying to keep it stock until I get all of the bugs worked out.

I believe I fixed the issue. The grounding connection next to the breather box was bad. The factory single connection had some wires that were broken. I pulled it and put on 3 separate end and bolted it back on the post. All lights are working properly.

Electrical gremlins are the worst. And it's sad how many of them eventually turn out to be a fault in one of the MANY grounds.
