Could these be used as turn signal lights on flat fenders?

I’ve been thinking about the Aries flat fenders front & back
Was thinking about how to light side of fender .
Since JK has front turn signal on grill . Were you thinking running these sideways . Light strip parallel with length of vehicle ? Think those would look ok as long as not to big imho . How long are they ?
In my case the halo’s are also turn signal . The signal lights in grill are backed out but give off bright flashing cause LED.
I was just thinking smaller marker light but those would be good idea as well .

I couldn’t find measurements but they might be big enough to pretty much BE a fender AND a light. 
I was thinking of mounting them parallel, along the outside or centerline of the fender, pointing out. Existing grill lights would cover the front.
I don’t have flat fenders, but thought something like this might be cool to adapt.
