hi!! a drunk driver crashed into my jeep! we are okay but do you guys think my jeep will be saved? im now waiting for the insurance to resolve when they will take it in to the body shop but i am afraid they will consider it a total loss.
yeah thats exactly what im afraid of...The only thing would be hard to see by looking at it would be a slightly bent frame.
Based on the panel gaps (the hood and fenders), i was thinking the same. Hopefully not the case. The only thing would be hard to see by looking at it would be a slightly bent frame.
yeah thats exactly what im afraid of...
i really hope they fix it even if its bent. The dump truck bent my frame a bit and they fixed it.![]()
They will go with what cost less. If fixing is less than totaling it then a fixing they will go.i really hope they fix it even if its bent.
i would have to check!! but im praying its not totaledI wonder, if it is in fact totaled, do they (insurance) permit you to remove some aftermarket items from your original Jeep? I recall when my Ford was totaled, it had new tires and a recent tuneup. The insurance gave me a hefty check so I was happy with what I ended up with, but I sure missed that Ford and was bummed about the spanking new tires being a loss.
Looks like the Jeep was a lot tougher than the minivan. That does NOT look totaled to me.
