So I’m curious how other guys run their 4WD.

When I put in 4Lo it automatically switches off traction control

4Hi traction control stays engaged .

Most of my wheeling is in 4Hi. Will change to 4Lo when going over major obstacle or threw a big washout on the trail . Never ever do I get tire slippage which is testament to the K02’s.

I guess wondering if people are turning off traction control while in 4Hi? Would there be a benefit in doing so ?

Thanks

Should add it’s an automatic.
Overdrive switched off and in 2nd gear . Will manually override and put in 1st on obstacles or steep hills etc

Have you ever been driving on the roads and have traction control come on? I don't offroad my Jeep but if I did I wouldn't want it doing it's thing when your trying to control it safely.

I don't like TC or ABS this is my first vehicle with it and i've been driving for 50 years.

That's a good point and one never gave any thought too. Cause yeah if going up steep hill climb
or an off camber situation with a 500 foot cliff a few feet away . There are trails like that here. That would be very unsettling if traction control started doing its thing .
I find ABS to be helpful on the roads if on slush or snow . Haven't had that activate yet Off Road .
I'll be going out next weekend so will turn off traction control while in 4HI .Purposely do a few things
and see how it feels .
Thanks for the input :)
