2013 JKU manual: random no crank issue

So ive had this random no click, no sound, no crank but red light for almost 2 years. Thinking it was the skim (red light) i had the skim module replaced (myself) and i had it programmed and 2 new keys. Had a check engine light for a day or 2 but ran beautiful... Jump in key turn crank go. Just like it should. The next day check engine is gone ... But guess whos back. Yep. Mr no click, no sound no crank red light. . Some times it takes 1 or 2 tried the. She cranks and runs like a tank. Other times it takes 5 to 30 tries then once cranked zero issues. Then sometimes jump on and crank and go. Just odd. Well it evolved a month ago into this cough no crank issue. Again... Random. Ive taken it to 2 different dealerships the first one couldn't replicate, then i was actually told the mechanic didnt want to work on it.. . The second dealership... cant replicate. ( See the pattern) Im picking it up Friday unfixed....again. I have 2 years left of the extended warranty if i can ever get it fixed.
I am not impressed with Jeep Service at all

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Everytime it fails to start like it should the little red dot is lite up?

You bought a warranty? If I understood it correctly then take it back to where you bought it and tell them to fix it. If they can’t, I’d tell them I want my money back.

I’d check the ignition switch personally.

I’d also turn the key to run and the run a jumper wire to the starter and crank it that way…..see if it runs. It’ll help narrow down the source of the problem

With a manual transmission….can you turn the key to run and then roll start it?

I don’t think we can rule out the SKIM module yet but I don’t think it’s likely.

Had the click no start this week. Solenoid on starter failed. Its a complete unit so had starter replaced starts now.
I'd have done it myself but I'm getting too old to crawl around under it.
I can ger down any number of ways but getting up is the challenge.
