I am a new member here and I need your help unfortunately my spouse passed away on March the 4th of this year , and I am having to learn how to work on my spouses Jeep which is a 2010 Rubicon 2dr with the 6 speed manual transmission it is experiencing rough idling and loss of power there is no codes displaying. I installed new spark plugs and leads and replaced the air filter it took me most of the day but this my first time ever working on a Jeep but didn’t fix the issue. I did some research and found out it can be the crank position sensor not the camshaft sensor which is totally different . I went to Auto Zone and got the crank position sensor it is a L shaped piece but I have no idea where this piece goes please help me

Hopefully this will help. I knows yours is a 2010, but 2008 had the same engine. JK’s are very sensitive on electronics so make sure to use a OEM sensor.

Yes you should use OEM parts these JK's are real picky about the parts used on them.
