Fwiw mine did not always throw one. You’re right though … when I had that problem it was the wheel speed sensor.Could be a bad wheel speed sensor but I thought they would give a code.
Is it on and stays there all the time?
Danarch is probably correct. The brake clean will most likely do nothing and even if it does, the sensor is probably bad and will not last long.I am not sure brakleen will do the trick. I think the the wheel speed sensor needs to be replaced with OEM parts. The bad thing is, if that is the problem doesn’t sound like you know which one it is since there isn’t a code.
Yes, no brake clean, no access. Might give it to dealer after the SEMA show!I am not sure brakleen will do the trick. I think the the wheel speed sensor needs to be replaced with OEM parts. The bad thing is, if that is the problem doesn’t sound like you know which one it is since there isn’t a code.
Is there a thread on this procedure? Not finding it. 07 JK having same issue.I was getting the ABS and ECS lights a while back. Only happened after a few hours of driving. Found my rear axle seals leaking pretty bad. Replaced seals and bearings, cleaned everything real good(degreaser soak and a pressure washer) and haven't had a problem since.
