Well went and read the close to useless manual, says nothing about rechargeable battery. There is a spare battery in the handle which is not easy to reassemble without pinching little wires. The battery is lithium.

I did the Novak TC shifter bushing mod today and what excuse to pop a beer. No pic's as don't have a camera and I was upset with stupid mistakes. I don't why I fix stuff thats not broken. New tie rod stuff suppose to be here next week to correct some minor wandering.
