I was kind of thinking that. There wasn't any play in the hub though. I have the axle bearing, wheel bearing and seals so it will all be changed. Im hoping that's it and not a CV on the driveshaft.

2014 Jku sport. Manual transmission a little over 50k miles. Problem location is rear driver's side wheel. Recently started making a popping /clicking noise when in reverse and a slight scraping noise when moving forward. There is a little bit of dark oil so I know the axle seal is at least bad...
