    Shock Suggestions

    I swapped my Rubicon red stockers for OME(Old Man Emu) Nitrochargers and couldn’t be happier. Stable, firm, & responsive on pavement without being harsh. A marked improvement over stock. I don’t do much off-roading but my understanding is they excel in that arena as well.

    2014 in need of an engine

    Stinks you are having issues at 80k and that price seems very high for a motor swap. Low mileage used motor could be installed for roughly half that. As for the 3.6 being “not a very good engine”, a few billion trouble free miles across the FCA lineup over the last decade prove otherwise.

    IMO the only real advantage to 5w30 is it is slightly thicker at operating temperature and will protect better in warmer/hot weather. Many feel FCA uses 5w20 is to provide better fuel mileage at the expense of better protection. The 3.6 is a robust engine and will be fine with either. That...

    What oil are you running in your 3.6 Pentastar?

    I am about to change with Shell Rotella full-synthetic 5W20. $22 at Walmart. I believe any quality synthetic is fine and after 100k plus miles in the Pentastar I don’t find it to be a picky engine.
