Makes sense. Although by sticking with the same weight as 33's at 62lbs vs going to heavier 35's @ 67lbs that should help substantial I would think? Also running 4.56 gears.

I have 33" tires and can get a set of 35" tires which have the same weight at 62lbs each. I know increasing tire weight adds more stress to parts, but if you can do a taller tire with the same weight as a smaller one, would it not keep the stress level on the Jeep the about the same?

Sleeping side ways is another trick I use and I'm pretty comfortable with that.

I don't push my Jeep hard. So from what I can ascertain a D30 with an Eaton selectable locker and 33" tires should be fine for trails no harder than 7.

Will the front Dana 30 axle handle an Eaton Selectable locker. Running 33" tires on 2013 2 door Sport. Will just be running trails in the 5-7 rating 10 scale? No plans to do any more upgrades or harder trails.

I've heard good things about the Goodyear Duratracs. I run KO2s and they seem pretty quite with good traction. However, I would probably not buy them again as the tend to hold peebles in the groves and throw up pebbles off-roading.
