LED headlight flicker on Jeep Wrangler Renegade

Nope, no kind of errors anywhere. Seller sent me a replacement set. Plugged one of them in and it does the same thing so it's not the lights. Going to tap in a resistor tomorrow and see if that cures it. If not, I'll live with it.

LED headlight flicker on Jeep Wrangler Renegade

Today I tried wiring the power up to another spot on the battery and still only get about 12V so nothing more I can do there. I have a new set on the way. I'll test those and if they do the same thing, I'll just have to live with it. It still looks good so not really a big deal, just...

LED headlight flicker on Jeep Wrangler Renegade

Hadn't heard of that but I see it doesn't support the Renegade apparently.

LED headlight flicker on Jeep Wrangler Renegade

I'll try it again tomorrow. Maybe I missed something. I do already have the seller sending me a new set. It would be easy enough to hook them up without installing them to see if they do the same thing.

LED headlight flicker on Jeep Wrangler Renegade

Yes, still the same. If the lights are on they flicker or if the lights are off but they are blinking due to the turn signal or four ways being on, the low light flickers.

LED headlight flicker on Jeep Wrangler Renegade

Hell, I misread what you said. My bad. You're saying just test the halo wire when it's on, not when it's flashing. Got it.

LED headlight flicker on Jeep Wrangler Renegade

Ok, tested it engine on and off. It goes back and forth from 9 volts to 3 back and forth. This is with the 4-ways on.

LED headlight flicker on Jeep Wrangler Renegade

I do have a volt meter. I would Just set it to 12 volt, touch red to a bare part in the wire going to the halos and the black to the negative terminal correct?

LED headlight flicker on Jeep Wrangler Renegade

I'm not sure how that can be when it's basically brand new, just bought a couple months ago. I read somewhere that most people don't hook the power wire right to the battery, that they use a fuse and plug it into the fuse box in the ACC slot. This thing has three different fuse boxes, I have...

LED headlight flicker on Jeep Wrangler Renegade

I've posted here before, I have a Renegade but I'm not getting much help from those forums since I guess not a lot of people swap out the stock headlights for 7" LEDs and I'm sure lots of Wrangler owners do so I thought I'd post a question here. So I changed out the stock halogens for some 7"...

Will JK fog lights fit a Renegade?

Yes, I'm aware that the front clip has to come off. Not really a big deal to me. I'm coming from a '12 Ram that you had to remove the front grille to remove the headlights. This is a little bit more than that but not a big deal to me since it seems pretty simple to do. I'm just waiting for a...

Will JK fog lights fit a Renegade?

Yeah, really sucks. You'd think just going by what it is and the look that there would be a good amount of stuff you can do to it but there isn't and that's disappointing to me. I did just get the brackets that you use to swap out the halogens for a set of nice LED/color changing halos but...

Will JK fog lights fit a Renegade?

I have a '19 Renegade. I'd like to swap out my fog lights for some black LED's. My problem is there don't seem to be any aftermarket. I see there are a ton for the Wrangler. I was wondering if the Wranglers used the same size fogs as the Renegade does? Anyone know if this would work?
