    Heated windshield washer fluid

    Older mercedes actually had a t off the heater hoses that ran to the washer bottle, attached to an aluminum coiled pipe that sat inside the washer reservoir, which resulted in always hot washer fluid. They have since gone to heated spray nozzles but it was a cool feature.

    If it's just temporary, or even permanent, I'd just find a set of used ones on cl from someone that installed a lift and no longer needs their brand new used shocks. What do you mean by smooth out the ride? My rubicon was never bouncy or stiff...

    Lift recommendations?

    Aev, metalcloak are great 3.5 inch lifts, also to consider is the factory 2.5 with Fox shocks, is more of a 3" lift, and rides exactly like factory, but a tiny bit firmer. I have that lift currently, but will be putting a 3.5 on it b4 I do any serious off roading like the rubicon trail.

    Ok, it makes sense now. The rubicon stock is very soft suspension. Softer than my 02 tahoe Z71. Your dad's is "tight" because of the lift, and the tires are probably load range E, your's at stock size are load range "C". Between the hard E tires, and stiff shocks, that where the difference...
