The "stubby" socket came today. Worked perfectly and was a breeze. It definitely needed tightening down. You can see how it made enough room to fit in there between the tie rod

Well, I managed to get her on backwards today. Didn't take too long and I was more able to easily get her in there when coming from the side than underneath. Only problem is that because of the tie rod I can't get a torque wrench in there to tighten her to 50 lbs. I can get the other end to...

I actually tried that because it's just the grommet. It was too narrow a few days ago but maybe I could try it now? Wouldn't it bad being backwards though?

Won't you grind some of the rubber grommet off too?
