Man that's really cool!!

New shocks installed Saturday. Drove it to work yesterday and really couldn't believe the difference!!! Since I drive the same stretch of interstate daily, I know where every last freaking bump is in the road. The BlackMax shocks, for a lower end shock, really smoothes out the ride...

I can't help on the tap, I would get the helicoil kit for the 3.8 engine, and go from there. I'm just to lazy to Google it tonight. Sorry.

I prefer to use Vaseline on the tap, it will trap the shavings and hold it. Then before I put the new plug or plugs in spin the motor over to blow anything out.

While your at it check all the grounds to. Make sure they are clean and tight!!

Got the BlackMax shocks installed this morning. Took me a little longer than expected, but it came a down pour and I had to swap sides of the shop during install to keep myself dry!!!! No decals on the shocks and no boots. Decals will go under the hood and boots will probably go in the trash...

Haven't done it yet, it's a this Saturday project! New blackmax shocks!! And an EGR valve! Read @Chris write up on the EGR valve and watched some YouTube videos. For anyone that has replaced the EGR valve, can you reuse the plastic pins in the inner fender??

Ok got home a little while ago, he went to a doc in the box Monday they put him on some antibiotics for a UTI, the the ER doctor says aren't strong enough and the infection was getting worse. New round of antibiotics for the next 10 days.

Had to bring Dad to the ER for Bladder/Kidney problems. Parked next a JL

I have done the same thing, replaced the right rear unit bearing on the wife's Armada. Ran to Harbor freight 5 minutes before closing for the Maddox slide hammer. Power went out and had to finish the job the next night

That's why I went early this morning before I started the job. The drill bits were for a different job that I got my dad to do for me. At 84 there isn't alot he can do anymore, so I try to let him help me when he can. Makes him feel useful and helps me also.

Alright, had to run by Harbour Freight and pick up a set of drill bits, then ran by O'Reillys and got an exhaust hanger tool. Stopped by the grocery store and spent more $$$$ Got home and everything put up while the JKU cooled down. Out with the old! In with the new!! Underside...
