After you pull the fuse for the fuel pump and the engine stops what then? You put the fuse back in at some point. Does the fuel pump have power before you put the key in the ignition?? It shouldn't... There very well may be multiple things happening here, but I would start with...

First thing I would do is understand why the wheel stud broke. Looking at the uneven wear patterns on the face of the spacer there was a clear loss of clamp load which caused the wheel to move relative to the spacer. Were lug nut torques not checked or is there a quality issue with the spacer?

Nice! Wheelbase definitely has a large impact on ride. Sounds like the 8sp is a nice addition on the JL/JT. So are you getting rid of the JK or keeping both? Congrats!
