The jScan did fix the locker light, it showed "enabled", I switched it to "disabled" and it has not come back on, in fact the switch is dead now. No activation at all. The "hyperflash" issue is only available on 2011 and up models. Go figure.

In retrospect, when I swapped my TIPM, I did loose some settings, like the tire ratio/size to mph setting. I likely lost the "no lockers" setting too. Does this make any sense? Why did it take 4 months for it to rear it's head? Loving my JK!
