Alarm / lock issues (alarm keeps beeping without using FOB)

I have this problem with a key that got washed, do you have the same problem with both keys or just one? If it’s just one it’s probably key related, if both the problem might be elsewhere.

Thoughts on Nitto Ridge Grappler tires?

I run 35 x 12.50 x 17 Ridge Grapplers, have been happy with them so far. They are fairly quiet still considering they have about 40k on them. What is your Rim width? Im pretty sure if you stretch a smaller narrower tire onto those 20’s the ride will not improve.

What's the best oil and how often should I change it?

I’m a believer in synthetic oils benefits and I do believe they offer better engine protection than conventional oil. I had a 1990 Z71 that was my work truck, bought new in 1990 sold in 2006 with over 896,000 miles. It never tasted conventional oil unless it was in it from the factory. All my...

    Got hood flutter?

Moparpartsonline offers the JL hood latches as a factory upgrade to eliminate hood flutter. I was waiting to see if FCA was going to do anything about it. https://moparonlineparts.com/mobile/jeep-wrangler-hood-latch-upgrade-p-8715.html

    Got hood flutter?

I have had the hood flutter I have experienced it many times, I read a post on WF from a guy who’s hood flipped up that the NHTSA has been looking into it with FCA and they are focusing mostly on Hard Rock hoods where there have been 2 failures, his was one of them.

    Got hood flutter?

It’s possible that the design flexibility of the hood latch has more to do with the off-road usage of the Jeep.

Any solution to raise the rear axle shock mounts?

Take a look at the Teraflex Alpha HD. I was going to do the same as you with the AEV until I found this It replaces the hinges with a heavy duty bracket assembly

I forgot to mention I installed the Teraflex Alpha HD hinged tire carrier. This thing is SOLID and a little pricey you can save a little money by reusing your spare mount like I did and make a 2” offset mount to get the tire up higher for a 35. This thing is drilled and tapped for all sorts of...

For power I used 6ga wire to run a 40 amp fused positive and negative wires directly to the battery, also the install wiring harness comes with all the switch wiring for lockers and power. Since I wouldn’t be needing all that I pared it down to the necessary wires and rewrapped the harness with...
