    Finally Found a Bumper... Maybe?

If you're gonna put a winch on, that's the way to do it: sittin low. Having a bunch of stuff blocking radiator airflow is never bueno.

    Front Inner Axle Seals

Oh I agree, I'm just saying it's not that bad if it goes warranty + 1 and blows up in your face down the road. I recommended that tool because it's not that expensive and does allow you to feel confident you didn't screw up the seals. I remember what it was like with a full college load while...

    Front Inner Axle Seals

I did mine once. The correct tool for it is about $80 and the seals are cheap. Need a few long extensions to knock old ones out. It's not a difficult job, just a little messy and time consuming. Dropping the tie rod on one side makes it easy to pull the carrier out of the diff...

Oh no the poor thing is disabled.

    3.8 Engine needed

Yeah a lot of the parts are the same. Do you know why yours failed? Short of major damage the 3.8 isn't a complicated engine.

    3.8 Engine needed

They have differences on the block though. There was a youtube series where someone tried that and it didn't turn out. Rods and caps are different too looks like. He did try using an '03 3.8 though. Not sure if later models were the same as the JK.

    Air Bag Light

Passenger airbag took about an hour for me. Wouldn't imagine clock spring would take much longer. Assuming they have parts of course. The stock skidplate that covers the transfer case is just 4 bolts to drop it. Not sure what's involved there though as I didn't have that recall on mine.

What did you do to your JK today?

Looks like Dominion Offroad's add-on to their hi-lift jack mount. Their jack mount is very clean. Have one on my JK. https://www.dominionoffroad.com/hi-lift_quick_fist/index.html

    4 door door rack

I can vouch for this one. You'll need to get the bolts to put it on the wall though. Easy enough. https://offroadconceptsfl.com/products/o-r-c-4-door-hanger-07-19-jeep-wrangler

    Shifting issues?

Yep, and there's little to nothing out there on replacing it for the NAG1 tranny.

    Shifting issues?

That's only on the 07-11's with a 42RLE transmission, which has a range sensor. The 12+ have a different auto transmission and there doesn't seem to be much if any info out there on that one.

    Air Bag Light

Check your VIN for recalls. There is a known issue with the clockspring/airbag. Mine had both clockspring and passenger side airbag recalls that had been open for years and not done by previous owner. https://www.motortrend.com/news/1605-jeep-wrangler-recalled-for-steering-wheel-clockspring/

Need some help troubleshooting my 2008 Rubicon

There are a couple other common locations for large evap leak. I had to chase down evap stuff myself when I got mine. Don't overlook the most common cause: the gas cap. There is also a module on the charcoal cannister called the ESIM which also has an o-ring that can go bad. I...

Can I tow an Expedition 2.0?

Nice trailer! 3000lbs is getting up there but it's doable. Might want to look into the Old Man Emu really heavy duty rear springs or airbags. I'd also put in a heavier gear oil in the diff and maybe some ebrakes.

    Hello everyone

Yeah I do some weekend warrior stuff, fishing and camping trails that other people are going to have problems getting into. There's a lot of interesting places to get lost in WA, ID, OR and MT. I also enjoy just daily driving it and crawling over parking lot barriers for some mall...

    Lift Question

2.5" to 3" of actual lift is the sweet spot with 35's in terms of cost and performance. With some flat fenders and 2.5" lift running 35's I have zero problems doing silly stuff. i don't do huge rocks, but it's great for anything you don't need 37's or 40's to get over.

On their website is a list of recommended adapters for JScan, by model. You've got a JKU btw not a TJU.
