What is also helpful is to apply electrical grease anytime you take a connector apart. Available at most auto parts stores. It is non conductive and prevents corosion. I apply a little to both sides of the connectors.

Is $2,100 too much to for a ring and pinion upgrade. Front and rear being done, going from 3.21 to 4.56. The kit is about $700 and the carriers $125. each (I think). $1,200 for labor seems high. Shop labor rate is $125.00 an hour. I'd be curious what others paid if they didn't do it themselves.

I have always had good luck with Original Armour All. Spray it on wipe it off, severe fading may require two applications to get them real black. After that, apply once a month.
