I just had all the ball joint replaced with Synergy joints. Much better ride BUT, Synergy has produced a number of bad ball joints and they are out for installing. I would recommend NOT using synergy joints BUT i would recommend joints that are greaseable. WRT brakes, I've had very good luck...

I am surprised at the caster angle...everything I've read from Dr. Google is "caster should be in the 6-7 range". But like what was said earlier, it's different for every vehicle. Gotta say though, not a fan of 18 inch wheels...tire selection is narrow and expensive (Just Empty Every Pocket)

The Geo Brackets (due to lift) put the control arms back to original spec (or alignment with the drive train. Essentially, it lowers the control arms to put them in line.... I have adjustable control arms but with the lift, they were at a pretty steep angle...

Copy all the above... I'll be dropping it off today (hopefully / maybe) and i'll ask for the aligment sheet...Odd..every aligment I've ever gotten the shop has provided me with the sheet but this one...What should the caster be?

Good point. There is a possibility that the geometry brackets are not the right ones... So PO installed a lift but there is no part number / indicator of what type and what amount of lift. I've read so many conflicting comments on how to tell how much lift. Stock springs were supposedly 8'...

So, the test drive happened...suspect a bad ball joint...??? Synergy -- new joints w/ a bad one. We'll see!

Forgot to mention -- Front end alignment was done...I'll check real quick for the numbers and post 'em here... Don't have them in the JK but I'll get them when I get to the shop...

So, 2015 JK w/~119K miles - MT, lifted ~3 or so, 35' GY KO2 tires on Moto something rims. Prior to having some suspension work done, so stiff it rattles your teeth or tooth loose but she tracked great, one hand driving....now, white knuckle. Work performed by a reputable Jeep shop; Geometry...

For troubleshooting, try disconnecting the door harness (1 at a time) to see if the problem follows/persists to a specific door? I had the opposite problem and had to replace the door harness...not hard to do. -- Just a thought.

Yeah i heard about that...but only after i replaced it with a Kenwood head unit. HOWEVER, new harness worked out like a champ. PITA to get to the door lock plug but once in & buttoned up, light comes on and radio turns off!

LOL...jealous here. I'm in central FL so during Hurricane season torrential downpours are all too common. From mid-Nov to May or so, doors will be off. I don't mind the light not coming on when i open drivers door but I just hate the radio is on a timer...kinda silly if you ask me! Why on...

I guess I'm fortunate! 2 door, roll down windows so it's just a 2 wire connector...I'm assuming for the radio cutoff & dome lights. It's definitely the door connector...which is obviously bad/broken. I guess it could be upstream though? Which i REALLY hope its not...I can't contort my body...
