Check the belt tensioner pulleys for damage. They’re easy enough to change.

Still have the OEM battery clamps? They’re a regular player in electrical gremlins. They are flimsy and quickly lose connectivity. Swap them out for some solid style old school terminal clamps.

A question best asked of the French MOT folks regarding the legality of LED headlamps. Factory LHD headlights probably can be procured from a vehicle salvage yard in France.

Correct. The heater core has failed probably due to corrosion. It’s the only way you’ll get coolant in the cabin. As said by BlackJKU, change the hoses if they’re hard. Odds are, they’re due too.

Autozone and O’Reilly doesn’t charge for using theirs. You put a credit card on file for deposit and when you return the tool, poof goes the deposit hold. And - avoid cheap tools. You get what you pay for. DAMHIK.

That’s a bad heater core. Hoses are attached to it in the engine bay, outside of the actual cabin.
