    Jk Lift

I spent all I have for the build on the set up that is planned. I will definitely have more money to spend after I pay it off.

    Jk Lift

The funny thing is, I may end up going with the 4.56 gears now, just because the 4.10 gears have been on order for nearly 3 weeks now.

    Jk Lift

The guys at the shop think the stock dana 30 and stock shafts will not last if the taller gear introduces too much torque. They think it will be less likely to break on the trail with this set up.

    Jk Lift

I have a 2018 JK that is in the shop now. I am going from stock 255/70-17's to 35x12.5 tires. I am having the 3.73 gears changed to 4.10's, and I am going with a 4" terraflex lift. I know that I don't need that much lift for 35's, but I only want to lift it once. In the future (when it's paid...

Hi, New here looking for advice on molle gear

It's been a while since your post, but maybe you are still looking. When it comes time to add storage and versatility, I went old school. I went to the surplus store and scored a couple of military packs and strapped them to my roll bars. They are cheap to get, and I can take them out and...

    attaching images

I load the pictures from the camera using the PC mode. When I attempt to attach the photos I need to change the size in the edit section. I think I have it figured out now. I am waiting for the Jeep to come back from the shop that is doing the lift. Then I will post the pictures. Thanks for...

    attaching images

A couple of weeks ago, I tried to attach my photos of my Jeep to my profile and The pictures seemed huge compared to the space. I'm sure I have some thing that needs to be adjusted on my camera, but I don't have a clue. I would appreciate all the help I can get. Thank you

    Detroit locker in the front?

Things have definitely changed. But I do like the advantages that come with it. Electronic ignition, fuel injection, and disc brakes, just to name a few. Remember warming up your jeep just to keep it from stalling as you put it in gear? And the little spots of defrosted windshield where the...

    Detroit locker in the front?

I guess the 4" lift is more for looks than function. and I did say 33's but I was thinking 35's. I just realized that I hit Post reply twice. I am going to look at more examples of wranglers, and decide what looks best with what accessories. Then take it out and see what it takes to get it...

    Detroit locker in the front?

I decided on the 4.56 using the chart listed in this forum. It was very helpful. I may just upgrade to the higher ratio and not do a locker on the front at all. There aren't many rock walls in Mi. any way. I was kind of surprised at the labor costs for all of the upgrades. I am looking at...

    Detroit locker in the front?

This is the beginning of my research. I don't know anything about jeeps newer than my CJ5. I was assuming that it could be done on a Jeep because I have a detroit locker in the rear of my H3. It is a 2007 and may not be as sophisticated as a 2018 JK. I will definitely add that to the list...

    Detroit locker in the front?

I am researching lift kits, gear changes, and tire sizes, for my 2018 Oscar Mike JK. It has a 3.6, and according to the build sheet it has a 5 speed automatic transmission. The build sheet also lists 3.21 gear ratios, and a limited slip rear end. The vin lists it with an optional 3.73 axle...

    Pellston Michigan here, 2013 JKR

I was at my local Muffler man down here in Portland. That is 20 miles East of Lansing off I 96. Northern Michigan hardwoods is the place. Thanks for jogging my memory.

    2012 JK Mountain Edition Orange

That color looks great on a Jeep! I wouldn't want it for my wife's Fusion, but then if the Fusion had that set of tires and sat that high, it might work.

Should Jeep Wranglers wave to Gladiators?

I started out with a C J 5. At that time, if you saw another jeep you waved because he may be the one who comes over the dune where you were stuck. That was 40 years ago. I bought my JK a couple months ago, and got a wave and didn't have a clue what it was about. So that jeep driver got...

    Pellston Michigan here, 2013 JKR

Welcome from another Michigander! I was just talking to a guy at the local Muffler Man about a place that sells Cedar in Pellston. I forgot the name of the company, but remembered it's in your town. Any suggestions?
