my thoughts, dont forget the towel on the paint, I use a blue mat like under my back tire, they dont hold dirt. I would use a bungee between both mirrors to hold the lid back against the windshield when in the wild, in case of windy conditions.
if I may revive a sleeping thread, how did you get your main wire into these terminals? I am looking to replace my terminals but would like some wisdom from previous experience.
my positive and negative terminals just slip right off with little effort. short of cutting the wire where my finger is, what are my other optioins? I have new terminals that require cutting the wire and sandwiching It between two bars and tightening the bolts. nervous to be doing this for some...
took off the dual relays by the master cylinder, blew them out, cleaned them up a bit and put them back together. fan started to run on the spot.that was my last check before a new radiator fan, $260-$500. wheewww. thumbs up! !
did a full circle and ended back here.
Looking for a radiator fan motor replacement, not the whole fan assembly, though it seems that's all there is.
my j19 was blown so that got replaced and now I hear clinks coming from down under. I am assuming the relays are clicking and the motor itself...
I had one going off for no reason until I took one of the other tires off for brakes or w/e and drove to work and it turned itself off....engine light came on instead lol.
figures, I bough the one that isn't supported, also looking for recommendations for OBDII scanners. Merry Christmas, this is a no-no during the holidays but everyone is sleeping and I am turning wrenches before they wakeup lol.
