What was your driving situation like at the time you got Hot Oil message ? Stop & Go traffic, hwy or heading up mountain ?

Got the hot oil message not long after purchasing 2008 Jeep. Hot summer day , long mountain incline, Hot Oil. Added a B&M trans cooler in series with stock trans fluid cooler . Haven’t had an issue since .

Went to Maclure Lake area yesterday . Half way between Lake Cowichan and the coast . Really Steep shelf roads . It was a hot one . 30 def C. Or 86 deg F. . Good way to test the cooling system of Jeep . No issues thankfully .

A couple weeks ago posted some pics on here of the Mt Aerosmith area ., Tried to access trails we could see across the valley . Sadly heavily gated so no access . Went back to Lake Cowichan and explored an area never been to . It was awesome . Shelf roads as far as the eyes could see .

Yes Gatekeeper is the company that makes them. $160 ish CDN . Well I hope Puppers seizures are able to be sorted out . I imagine vet is trying different variations of anti seizure meds to get that under control . He is a beautiful looking pup. Keep us in the loop with Puppers .

While reading your post I was like “ steerable light brackets ?” Took to Google & UTube . Genius Ducking Genius ! Going to order a set of brackets soon for the Jeep . They look fantastic on your Jeep . Have you had a chance to use them on the trail ?
