    HVAC blend actuators

I am not sure about this. I think they may need to be calibrated. Are you sure you put the new one in so everything was in the same position as when you removed it? I think I read somewhere on this forum you can remove the fuse for about 30 seconds and it may help to reset the system.

    HVAC blend actuators

I confirmed drivers side controls the heat, passenger by door controls the recirculating air function. That basically leaves the passenger one by the center console the directional one. Bright side found out the issue was extremely clogged cabin filters. Removed them saw how dirty they...

    HVAC blend actuators

Wanted to see if anyone could confirm which each HVAC blend door actuator does. 1. I think the drivers side sets the temperature, hot or cold. 2. I think the passenger one to the left of the glove box controls the direction of the air, i.e. foot, face, defroster. 3. I think the passenger...

    Removing Stuck Doors

Spray some PB Blaster and let it soak for a little bit. Move the door back and forth, that seems to help sometimes. On the jack, I would place it as close to the hinges as possible so the pressure is more straight up on them.

Removing all the old coolant from 3.6

No, but I haven’t done it yet. T-state is sitting in the garage. Just been busy.

Warnings lighting up like a Christmas tree

I’d check the battery terminals first. Make sure they are clean and not loose. I’d check the battery voltage if the other two items are good.

    What's leaking in this photo?

It shouldn’t be making any noise. Are you sure the noise is coming from the differential? Is there any play in the driveshaft?

    What's leaking in this photo?

Looks like the pinion seal. Doesn’t appear to be leaking too bad as it isn’t throwing gear oil around on adjacent surfaces. Is there any on the ground after you are parked for a while. If not, while it needs to get fixed seems like it would be okay to drive, but keep an eye on it. Same as...

    Openroad winch experiences?

I have an old Warn on my LJ. One JKUR has Smittybuilt, and two JKU’s have a HF Badlands. Haven’t had any issues with them. That said I’ve only had to use the Smittybuilt once. The Badlands have used a half dozen times. The warn assuming the PO put it on their when they got the LJ it...

    OEM thermostat

Pretty sure the housing and t-stat comes with the rubber seal as part of the housing unit.

What did you do to your JK today?

Bummer to hear, but I am sure it will work out. See you on the TJ forum!

Changing JK fuel injectors to JL fuel injectors

Absolutely agree. The 8sp would be the reason. I didn’t mean to imply it was the injectors that give it more “zip”.

Changing JK fuel injectors to JL fuel injectors

I will say the Gladiator has more get up and go then a JKU

Pros and cons of going with a newer JLU diesels

I heard they stopped making them? I was considering a used diesel Gladiator but the more I researched it sounded like they were having issues so stuck with the 3.6 gas. So far been fine for us and towing out A-Frame camper. Only have had it about 7 months. It’s a 2021 with about 35K...

    Hate Dealers

My son needed a new (used) car a few months ago. I am in my late 50’s. I was appalled when we went. Two different dealerships each pulled the same garbage. Advertise a car for “X” then when they come out they have “required” add of paint protection, interior protection, some other thing...
