Similar to what I use. Makes my JK like an articulated pickup. Plus I can chain it to a tree at camp to go wheeling.

I got the antenna in a radio package from Midland when I bought the MXT275 radio. I liked that one because the controls are on the mic. I purchased the mount from them separately.

I used the cowl mount with a 3db gain short antenna. Works great with a 15 watt GMRS . I've talked over twenty miles from ridgetop to ridgetop. Clear audio, unlike CB.

There was already one hole in the seat frame. I just drilled one more to mount the bracket.

I feel the extinguishers should be accessible from outside the Jeep. On the roll bar is OK if it's topless. Mine fit just fine between the seat and door. I have one on each side.

When off-road I adjust my speed for comfort and use whatever gear is necessary to keep the RPM's around 1500-2000. In low range that's 10-15 mph. If the terrain allows for faster travel I switch to high range.

My 2010 Rubicon JK auto goes into overdrive in low range. The only thing I don't like is that they put the overdrive off button in front of the gear shift on the center console instead of on the side of the gear shift where you can reach it with your thumb. I'll probably move it.

This is on my 2010. I found a hole on the passenger side behind the battery. There is some fiberglass insulation. I poked a straightened wire hanger through it and down toward the center console. It came out inside the firewall behind the heater. I tied a piece of string to it and pulled it...

Mine does it too. My solution is to not worry about it.:)

All the groups I'm in have switched to GMRS. Much better range and clarity than CB.

I have the MORryde heavy duty tailgate hinges and love them. I grease them after every oil change. They are heavy duty and do keep the tailgate from opening too far.

When the original warranty expired on my 2010 Wrangler I bought the Mopar Max Care warranty from the dealer. It has more than doubly paid for itself over the years. Best purchase I ever made.
