2008 3.8 throttle enhancer: which is best?

It's all about turning your brick into a race car, man.
Not really. It's also about not turning into a rolling road block. That may not be an issue if you're in the flatlands, but it certainly is in Colorado.
We all should have gotten Corvettes instead.
I'd change "instead" to "as well"... I have a C5 making 850HP. You can have more than one toy. :)

Curiously, how does adding zero torque or HP help with the hills and elevation of Colorado??

It doesn't, obviously. The context of the post you replied to was clear, I thought. I think things like pedal commander are pretty much useless. Building a more powerful engine is the answer.

Have you ever driven a Jeep with a throttle pedal enhancer?

No. Not a Jeep. I have driven other brands though. I see no reason to think that those would do anything different to the pedal commander. Do you?

Yes it does make it move faster then not having one, I have a Pedal Commander.

But like you and others have said if you really want performance then a different engine or gears would also help.

You can't really enhance the 3.8, you can just make it feel like it's peppier.

I honestly cannot wait until I regear because I live in a very mountainous region and even with 4.10s, it's torturous.

I have, a handful actually...

Again, it's important to clarify expectations/descriptions here. It doesn't "make it move faster", but "move the same speed with less throttle input". If that's how you would describe "move faster" then so be it. The only thing the pedal commander is doing is changing the throttle pedal to throttle-blade response ratio. That's it. It's basically doing the same thing to your brain that new basketball shoes does to every 4th grader.

The Jeep will move/accelerate no faster than by what is achieved by simply pressing the throttle down a little further. I understand the need to justify the expense as it seems you've spent quite a bit of $$$ adding little to no HP to your rig, but the simple truth is that there's a reason you can find so many used Pedal Commanders on marketplace, Craigslist, part swaps, etc. Once you get accustomed to the "new pedal" and your brain is no longer trying to convince you that there was indeed a power increase, you'll go right back to moving over to the right lane up long steep hill climbs and will accept the fact that a Geo Metro will blow your doors off from standing red lights :ROFLMAO:
