Tire pressure and TPMS. If I want to run tire pressure under 30 psi for better ride, how to disarm the TPMS alerts? Or can you disarm it?
Is there a recommenfed Jscan that’s affordable? If you want to run at 30 psi and keep your TPMS, you can set your levels to 20psi up to 40psi if you want with Jsan.
Jscan is the app you install on your phone. I think it's $20? For your vin specifically. Then I use iCarPro, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XGB4873/?tag=jkforum-20 to let the app communicate with the Jeep. There is soooo much you can do with them together! Is there a recommenfed Jscan that’s affordable?
I have the scanner coming. How do I get the Vin license?I've got a Bulldog GT Platinum that does it, but they're not exactly cheap. The only reason I have it is because it was in the center console when I bought the Jeep.
The JScan combo is much more affordable. The OBDII tool linked above is $32 and the JScan single VIN license is $19. Can't beat that for affordable.
Download the app for whatever phone you're using. If you have the scanner plugged in, connecting to it will pop up licensing options. If the scanner hasn't arrived yet, you can go under the SETTINGS button and purchase the license.I have the scanner coming. How do I get the Vin license?
I have a new question for all. Today I scanned my Jeep, a 2018 jku and it’s showing a B201A Tpms code.
I know it means low voltage but is it referring to the Tpms system or could there be battery issues.
If I use my JScan to turn off the tpms will take solve the problem?
Ok, I disabled the Tpms and rescanned it and the same A210B came up.
The battery is 5 years old and given us no problems.
Is this something to worry about or not?
No other issues. Seems to be starting and running fine.
