For those who work with their hands, such as electricians & mechanics, the idea of silicone rings are a blessing, not unlike the buckle-less belts.
I can only imagine the mount of crud that will get stuck in the tread of this design though.

This isn't a new concept, it's just a new market.

Today marks 42 years (holy crap!) of marriage for us. Rings were exchanged at ceremony time, but that was the only time mine was worn. My wife put hers away shortly thereafter because we both worked in careers that valued keeping fingers over a display of marriage.

Heck, I have a hard time wearing a watch, much less a ring. 😃
