I have a 2010 2 door. Often when I am entering the vehicle, and sometimes when I put the key in the ignition, the horn will beep or the windshield wipers will bump a little. Any ideas as to why?
It has to be programed to the vehicle. It's pretty much the computer/ fuse box. It's a totally integrated power module. Just Google tipm problem. You will find plenty. The cheapest option is to send yours off to have it fixed. There are companies that just do that. That's how common it is. Back around 2012 or so it was only 500 ish dollars from the dealer. But ive heard that its over a grand now.
And there is no other fix.
It will get worse and worse. Eventually the headlights will go off going down the road. The horn can stick and be blasting. The wiper washers can run without being turned on. You will remove the key and the jeep won't stop running. Etc etc
