What wheels / tires fit my Jeep?

I’m 18 and just got my first vehicle, a 2d 2011 Wrangler, a couple months ago and I’m starting to try and do more with it. Right now I have stock 17” wheels, 255/75 tires and no lift(don’t plan on getting one soon because of money). Would 285/75/17 BF Goodrich tires fit without too much rubbing? Might me a dumb question but I’m still fairly new to this so anything will help, thanks.
 
285s will fit, but you won't want to off-road without a lift.

If you want to fit 285s and do some off-roading, you really need a 2.5" lift to go with it, otherwise you will have rubbing and damage / destroy your fenders unless you set the bump stop accordingly.
