As I was wiring up the brake/signal so I can tow my Jeep behind our RV, I was reaching up from underneath the vehicle to route the wireing, along the drivers side main frame, near the power steering pump, and this falls down into my hand. No idea what it is but obviously plugs something. Any ideas?

No Idea, but I can tell you I've been wrenching on my 08 jeep with 230,000 miles for 17 years replaced engines and transmissions (on the third one now) and I have never come across that part. I bet it fell in there during a service, or was a plug in a new part that got left there.
