What is the largest wheel I can get that will fit my current 255/70R18 tires?

hey all! i need some advice. I'm looking to upgrade wheels on my 2010 Sahara Unlimited. Currently running the stock 18" wheels. I'd like to stay with 18". What is the largest wheel i can get that will fit my current 255/70R18 tire and what is the largest tire i can fit on this new wheel?

You can run a 18x8 wheel very easily. You could go 18x9, but I wouldn't go any wider than that.

As far as tires go, on a stock JK without a lift, you wouldn't want to go bigger than a 285 or 33" tire at most.

Up-travel is an important thing to understand. By increasing tire size and not the lift height, your "upgrade" isn't really an upgrade at all.
