Keep in mind the LS is in a '99 Corvette M6 coupe, not one of the Wranglers. This will be the third engine. I had a shop pull the 5.7L LS1 and swap in a heads/cam/blower 6.2L LS3. I drove and raced that for 70,000 miles and 400 passes before I collapsed a piston skirt at the track. OEM rotating assembly with 9lbs of boost will do that... So I pulled it out, had the block machined and resleaved, and rebuilt it with a forged crank, billet rods, and forged pistons. I'm still chasing little gremlins. The weather got nice enough to take it on a test drive, and I found a tiny leak from the rear main, so I'm fixing that now.
