Drove off road through some pretty rough terrain to get to Toquerville Falls today. (Photos are on the wife’s phone) He then took us to a spot he knows for lunch. Then I had to be towed - for the first time.😡 I drove it as hard as anyone else who had to drive it 300+ miles home would; not abusive or risky. Never needed 4 Lo or lockers, just 4H. We stopped for lunch and it wouldn’t restart. Radio worked, just no start. No click, just dead. The volt meter I put in indicated 11-13v, depending on what we were trying. We tried a jump, but it still wouldn’t crank. Just a few clicks, or worse; no clicks. Battery seemed fine until it didn’t. Installed last fall, probably November. Optima YellowTop. Luckily, my buddy was there with us and able to tow me to the street and we were also able to go to his place for tools and to get a new battery. It’s always something. Still had a great day off-roading. This thing is like a mountain goat. Never had an issue on any terrain or obstacle that we encountered.
