Changed the oil in mine and added one of THESE to the pan, since we were talking about them in another thread. I haven't used this one yet, but I have used them on other vehicles in the past, and they really are no-mess. Should make future oil changes easier. If anybody else decides to try these, you're going to need a big wrench. The plug is 15/16". Makes sense, since you're never taking it out and making it big means the knurled bit that covers the valve will be big enough to easily remove by hand. It was a particularly fun oil change. The dealer had changed the oil. I have put 1200-1300 miles on it. I am frankly amazed that they drain plug wasn't stripped out, because that sucker was really cranked down. I lifted myself off the creeper with a 2 foot breaker bar without budging it. I'm 6'1", 220lbs. So I broke out the impact wrench to get it out. I hear rumors that oil cooler leaks are a common problem. Is that with the 3.8L or the 3.6L, or both?
