Braided and/or plaited line is very tightly woven and it's a good idea to spool it out once in a while and let it dry out if its gotten wet. Because of its tight weave, it retains moisture and will start to mold from the inside out. One way to help get the moisture out is attach one end and put tension on the line. A lot of time it'll squeeze the excess water out.
