Weekend in the Ouachitas

Took the weekend off and headed to the Ouachitas. Arkansas has two main national forests, the Ozarks and the Ouachitas. The Ozarks are tight, technical, and gives the best challenge, but the Ouachitas are vast, scenic, an close to our capital. Just 45 minutes outside of Little Rock, the Ouachitas offer a quick escape for the weekend.

As more of the overlander, I don’t have to go bouncing on rocks to have fun (although I use to love that aspect). Sometimes a few washed out roads while enjoying the scenery is all I need to reset the mind.

Haha. He and I fit great in the swag. Super comfortable!

You don’t have to. I actually didn’t use even half of it. I just bring it as reassurance just in case I don’t find a ton laying around.
