Hey guys and gals. I have a 2007 jeep Rubicon. My transmission is leaking at the cooler that is part of the a/c condenser. I have a auxillary Mishimoto installed to help cool do to the fact i got a hot oil alarm while wheeling in Arizona. My question is is there a cooler i can install to bypass the factory one in the condenser. I do not have the extra money to have the freon evacuated and then to have it recharged once i get it it installed. I have done a lot of reading and searching on this but seems most units are installed after the factory cooler on the return line. I saw one from mopar Part Number: 82212486AB but not sure if this is a stand alone or if works as a auxillary. A new condenser is gonna run me $320. plus the cost to have the freon evacuated and recharged for another $220, but if that is what i have to do so be it. If I can just bypass it and put one in front of my radiator for easier access that would be much easier for me.

Trust your mishimoto to do the work. Bypass the condenser. when you got the hot fluid warning, where in in four hi and climbing?

Here is a thread I did for my trans cooler. My Jeep has a built 545rfe trans married to a little hemi stuffed into a small engine compartment. These two trans coolers that I mounted in front of the radiator netted a great result. I have not seen anything above 190f since I put a dedicated temp gauge
