Tire repair trail kit?

With my recent trail flat it got me thinking about trail tire repair. I have a plug & patch kit, but what about valve stem replacement and cores? Would I ever need to replace a core on the trail? What kind of valve stem replacement should I be looking at? Tia.

This is pretty handy. I’ve often wondered what I would do if a valve stem broke. Well change the tire, but this would be much simpler and still keep my spare available. Bookmarking this page to order a set in the near future.
